Around 2019 I decided to feed my kirby some characters from the Naruto Universe.

The challenge for me was to create an equal balance between the style of kirby, the art style of Naruto and a good twist of my own flavour. For those who are wondering, I make most of my illustrations using both Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, these have been my go to design software for years now and they never fail to deliver ! I love asking you guys on instagram which character you would like to see first and there was an overwhelming reaction for Kisame, so we made it happen.

I tried to capture his Samehada sword, literally meaning sharkskin in a good looking and dynamic pose. Also, it was fun to draw the water splashing all around, since water is very reflective I could go crazy on the details. The next character that deserved some spotlight was Obito Uchiha !

Since Obito Uchiha is the central antagonist of the Naruto series, i felt like he deserved to be drawn using lots of detail and care as well. Obito was a member of Konohagakure’s Uchiha clan who was believed to have died during the Third Shinobi World War, this was in his younger years when he used to have the goggles and sporting the orange blue outfit ! So i decided to capture that particular style of clothing. But we Naruto watchers all know that is not how the story ends. The third and last character i wanted to introduce Kirby is Uchiha Madara !

Madara speaks for itself amongst us Naruto fans. Since he was the legendary leader of the Uchiha clan. and founded Konohagakure alongside his childhood friend and rival, Hashirama Senju i think its safe to say he deserves a spot to be absorbed by Kirby… right ? This was the last artwork i did for the first part of the Kirby absorbs series.
